a LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
If you didn’t skip right past my front page, you would know that I am a 19 year old multimedia artist and blah blah blah whatever! That’s just the surface of it, my friend.
I don’t just make art, I CREATE art. And I know that sounds absolutely pretentious coming from some stranger on the internet with a WordPress website, but I hold it true to myself.
I’ve been consciously creating art since around age 9, and over the last decade, it has become everything to me. Art is one of the most beautiful and malleable forms of expression there is, and I think that’s why it is so important to me.
Ok now that we’ve gotten the deep stuff out of the way, I can spit a little about who I am superficially so you can build your image of me! I have many many many many many interests, but some of my top few include the concept of wizards, the concept of werewolves, and the concept of anything otherworldly, fantastical, or otherwise.
Some of my favorite pieces of “real media” include games like Disco Elysium, Skyrim, and Half-Life. I also like film and T.V. with my favorite show EVER being Adventure Time. Although I have and will continue to consume lots and lots of media, I also enjoy a good conversation or video essay on a random topic, and I’m actively trying to get back into reading real paper books.
My favorite kind of music is anything palatable and sometimes the stuff other people would consider “just noise.” My favorite band is Pink Floyd, (I have my reasons. Come at me, punk) but I am always willing and open to listening to new or interesting music.
I live with two of the most important people in my life in a shitty little house befitting of broke young adults, and I couldn’t be happier. We have two cats, Arthur (right) and Ratchet (left), one aloe plant, and a whole bunch of spiders that usually only come out at night.
I’m a manager in retail by day and a crime-fighting vigilante by night, but mostly just a retail worker. I’m currently working towards establishing myself as a small business owner and art merchant in my local scene, and I’m looking to put myself out there and grow as much as possible on that front within the next couple of years.
And above all else, I’m an artist looking to make the world a little lighter, send a message, and create beautiful shit.
